Samgyuptayo Celebrates First Annual Christmas Celebration

To give back to Samgyuptayo’s hardworking crew, we took over the venue and hosted our first-ever annual Christmas party with the entire Samgyuptayo family. It was a fun and memorable event. Both our staff and crew enjoyed themselves immensely as we shared delicious food, drinks, and jolly good fun that was reflective of the season.

Of course, Christmas parties aren't complete without parlor games! Our staff had a great time playing party favorites such as Newspaper Statue Dance—everyone fell in stitches as each participant tried their best to keep their balance while maintaining nearly ridiculous poses once the music stopped.

Creativity flowed as they attempted to beat other teams in the Human Christmas Tree games, in which they had to design one of their teammates with fabulous and improvised Christmas adornments in a timed manner to resemble a real human Christmas tree.

For the last game, we ensured that we could bring even more fun and laughter by holding the Blindfold Money Scooping Challenge. This portion had both staff and crew laughing their hearts out! Players showcased their skill in trying to scoop up the most money from a selection of money bills. During this event, one participant skillfully scooped P500 bill, earning both awe and envy from his peers. Many people tried their luck in order to obtain the highest-valued money notes. But as everyone quickly discovered, it does take a specific set of skills to be able to scoop as much money as possible.

The games were interjected with the announcement of the raffle winners. Prizes included assorted items like, new Timex Watches, Bluetooth Speakers, Electric Kettle, Sweat Shirt and so much more.

To cap off the celebration, the AM-Shift group and PM-Shift group wowed the crowd with their epic performances for the production number competition. The venue exploded with contagious energy as each group showcased their well-rehearsed performances—all in the spirit of friendly competition.

In the end, it was the PM-shift group who were proclaimed winners. Samgyuptayo’s first annual Christmas celebration ended as a success, and as we begin 2022, we are happy to say that we are proud of ourselves for making it through the year.
